Everything we have here, all our belongings, all we gained and saved -- all of it one day we will leave behind. We can’t take anything with us after we die. And it does not matter if you are a bishop, or pope, the president, no matter if you are one of the most educated persons on this planet, or if you are the richest businessman. All these things don’t matter to God. In His eyes we are all equal. However, one day God will look at the good deeds that you performed in your life. And those deeds Jesus calls treasures that we must store in heaven. Jesus said to his disciples: “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and decay destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” None of the good deeds we do to others goes unnoticed by God. And if our heart and desire is set on heaven, then we will store in there our good deeds.
