After Jesus’ Ascension into Heaven, the disciples were a little bit confused. They were not sure what to do. They had been with their Master for so long, and He taught them so much. But now they were confused and afraid. They needed something that would enable them to keep this fresh, new Church going. That’s why Jesus sent them a Holy Spirit that empowered them to do seemingly impossible things. Holy Spirit gave them supernatural power so they were able to perform miracles. Without that supernatural power of the Holy Spirit, we too would be confused, afraid, and our faith would be meaningless. That’s why we need to keep asking Jesus to send us Holy Spirit too, so we will have enough power to make the impossible, possible.
