Jesus said to his disciples, “Pay attention to what I am telling you.” Even today, Jesus wants to tell you something very important, so pay attention to His words. Do you? When you pray, do you pay attention to the words of prayer, and do you listen to what Christ wants to tell you? When you are at mass, do you pay attention? Listen to the Word of God, because there is something essential for your life that God wants to share with you. There are many times that we don’t pay attention to our Lord, just like the disciples from the Gospel reading -- “and they were afraid to ask him about this saying.” Pay attention to Jesus’ words, and if you don’t understand, don’t be afraid to ask.
