God can do everything. He created this world, He also created us. So, if He can do everything, why didn’t He build a most majestic palace for His Only Son? Why didn’t God secure that palace with an army of the best trained soldiers? And why didn’t God give His son all the money of this world? Today we know why. It is because our God does not care about all of these things. The things of this world have no meaning for God and have no meaning to His Son Jesus Christ. What does, then? Love! Love has all the meaning for our God, because He Himself is nothing but love! That’s why God didn’t give His Son any kind of palace, nor an army of soldiers, nor riches and money. Instead He gave Jesus a loving Mother. God knew that only love can give joy, peace, security. All God wanted for His Son was to be loved, and who can love more than a mother? Christ is coming to us, but He does not want from us anything else but true love. The Blessed Virgin Mary gave Jesus that love ‘beyond all telling’. What do you have to offer to Him? Can you give Him your love?
