Did it ever happen to you that you offered a prayer for someone, and that person said: ‘I don’t need your prayer’? Well, it happened to me, more than once. When Jesus commissioned His Apostles and told them to go and proclaim that the Kingdom of God is at hand, at the same time He was very clear that they may not be welcomed by some and may even be rejected. Why? Because not everybody is ready to convert, to believe, to become Jesus’ follower. We are called to proclaim the same message to the world just like the first Apostles. But just like them, we may be rejected by some. Don’t worry, don’t get discouraged. Jesus said -- just shake the dust from your feet and go to another house, another person, but never give up on proclaiming the good news.
