This story from the gospel reading today sounds a bit humorous. The disciples of Jesus just witnessed His miracle of the multiplication of the bread and the feeding of about four thousand people. Yet now they are arguing and worrying that they didn’t bring enough bread with them. How could they be so concerned about such a little thing while having the Lord with them. The Lord will always provide for His people. Often, we become like those disciples worrying about so many insignificant things in life, forgetting that Jesus is always with us and that we should trust in Him knowing that He will always take care of us.
